The Ultimate Horse Behavior Handbook, by Linda Tellington-Jones with Bobbie Lieberman, is a tool owners can use to better understand their horses.
The book, which has more than 360 color photographs, is divided into three sections. The first focuses on the Tellington Method, which is the author’s approach to increasing communication between horse and rider, and explains the motivations behind undesirable equine behavior; the second part lists 72 common training, behavior and health challenges and how to resolve them; and the book’s final section contains previously published works by Tellington-Jones that provide detailed information about the Tellington TTouches, the Tellington-Jones Equine Awareness Method, ground exercises, and ridden work.
