The good doctor is back.
You clamored for us to host him again, so now MyHorse Books is pleased to announce our second evening with author and neurosurgeon Dr. Allan Hamilton, called “Zen Mind, Zen Horse, and the Art of Aging Gracefully.”
Dr. Allan Hamilton shares more of his expertise about the science and spirituality of working with horses, the differences between right and left brain function when humans work with horses, and what that means to you. It’s based on his book, Zen Mind, Zen Horse.
In addition to giving us more information about right and left brain function, Dr. Hamilton will offer guidance on how to keep riding into our senior years.
As more of us baby boomers age (gracefully), many of us are intent on riding well into the last decades of life. Dr. Hamilton will talk about some of the unique challenges the aging rider may face, and give tips on health maintenance and physical conditioning to get the most out of horseback riding.
He will also focus on a major problem faced by older riders; namely, how to handle the problems of degenerative spine disease and still keep riding.
The webinar is free, compliments of USRider, a premier roadside assistance and towing service. USRider’s standard plan features flat-tire repair, battery assistance and lockout services, plus towing up to 100 miles and roadside repairs for tow vehicles and trailers with horses, emergency stabling, veterinary referrals and more.
