You’re probably familiar with acupuncture. It’s a form of alternative medicine that utilizes thin, solid needles to stimulate blood flow and re-balance energy flows within the body.
But what about acupuncture for your horse?
There is increasing research on acupuncture for animals, and reported benefits include: musculoskeletal, respiratory, neurological, and more. But finding acupuncture points on a 1,200-pound animal can be tricky.
That’s where Dr. Judith Shoemaker comes in.
In Acupuncture Points of the Equine 1 & 2, Dr. Judith Shoemaker explains each acupuncture meridian, and landmarks to find each meridian. With over 70 minutes of content, her DVD thoroughly explains the health aspects of these meridians, and specific points to address common ailments your horse might be experiencing.
