Whether You Ride English or Western, Comfortable Pants are a Must

When it comes to finding comfortable riding pants, it doesn’t matter if you’re riding English or Western. You just want to find something that fits you in the saddle.

And because your day doesn’t end when you leave the barn, Kerrits has designed a pair of bootcut breeches that are perfect for everyday riding, but versatile and stylish enough to be worn anywhere.

Cut with a slimming silhouette, the Microcord Bootcut pant has a slight flare at the hem that balances out the hipline. Compression microcord fabric gives the feeling of hold and shape-retention, with a subtle rib texture that camouflages for a flattering, streamlined look.

“The Microcord Bootcut is a great alternative to tights or breeches,” says Kerri Kent, CEO and designer for Kerrits Performance Equestrian Apparel. “They make an ideal transition pant for those currently riding in jeans because they’re so stretchy and flexible, offering total unrestricted range of movement.”

Whether you’re riding English or Western, the Microcord Bootcut breech offers unbeatable comfort and riding performance. The extended knee patch is made of soft, flexible Eco Suede™ that is fitted through the knee and calf to keep the pants in place; tucking easily into tall boots or half chaps.

“These are my go-to pants when I’m packing for a trip, even a trip that may not include riding,” says Kent. “They stand up well to vigorous trail riding and tack room chores, but they are also super comfortable on a cross-country flight. I even pair my bootcut breeches with a jacket for stylish equestrian flair when I go out to dinner. ”

Details include a wide, 2-inch elastic waistband for comfort, with flat belt loops that disappear under long tops. A cowboy-cut hem is designed a bit longer in back for an even length when you’re in the saddle.
